Let’s Take a Spin

There’s a new twist to the summer holidays waiting for you at Essel World. The amusement park recently launched a new ride —Top Spin — for adults. Brought from Europe,the ride consists a 40-person platform suspended between two counterweight arms that are held by two towers. It has an added feature of water blasts to enhance the experience. “A person on the two-minute ride will be held within two hydraulically-operated shoulder and lap bars for safety,” said Anand Lamdhade,vice-president,operations,Pan India Paryatan Pvt.Ltd and Bhushan Matiani,head of sales and marketing.

Happy Feet

This weekend,members of Phoenix Club Junior will learn to dance in hip hop and Bollywood style from dancer Shiraz Irani. Learning the nuances of dancing from Irani,a professional belly dancer,the children will also perform at the end of the workshop. The workshop will be conducted today,from 5pm to 7pm,at Phoenix Marketcity,Viman Nagar.
