Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is moving to Paris from Hollywood to pursue a career in fashion as she finds acting a monotonous job.

The 'Mean Girls' star, who recently launched her debut collection for French fashion house Ungaro, is fed up of the repetitive roles and admits that acting was not her first career choice, Times reported online.

"Life's a little bit tragic, don't you think? I never felt pushed into acting. Even thought it can get a bit monotonous always being on set. But the thing is, I never had acting lessons. I panic sometimes when I have a monologue to learn but then weirdly I look at the lines and they just attached themselves to my memory," she said.

The 23-year-old beauty now wants to move into fashion and is shifting base to Paris and taking lessons in French.

"Fashion is what I really love. It's not as if I have a five-year plan. I'm going to be in Paris for a long time. And I'm going to take French lessons, because I loved it at school," Lohan said.

"I cried when I saw my new office. It's got two balconies overlooking the Eiffel Tower!," she added.
