Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh starrer 'Lootera' has again been postponed for a March end release next year due to the lead actor's busy schedule.
'Lootera', a period romantic film is being directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of 'Udaan' fame.
The film, produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures, was earlier scheduled for a release this October, which was pushed to February 14 next year and now has been further pushed to March 29 next year.
"'Lootera' being among our ambitious epic projects, will be released on March 29 next year, which is Easter," Balaji Motion Pictures CEO Tanuj Garg said.
The release has been postponed after Ranveer hurt his back while shooting for 'Lootera' and his busy schedule is also a reason.
Ranveer had given his dates for the month of January and February to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Ram Leela'. This would make him unavailable for the promotions of 'Lootera', hence the makers decided to postpone its release.
