Ludhiana DIG receives President’s medal

MF Farooqui a 1995 batch IPS officer currently posted as Deputy Inspector General,Ludhiana Range has been decorated with the President’s police medal on the eve of Independence day by the President of India,Pratibha Patil . Farooqui has been decorated for his services in ensuring justice to the deprived segments of society.

Apart from the award,Farooqui’s contribution towards the training of Punjab police officer was acknowledged by the National Police Academy recently which appointed him a member of the board that is preparing an unified syllabus for police officials through out the country. The officer who has served in the chief minister’s security, also headed districts like Nawashehar,Faridkot,Khanna and Mansa.
