‘Madam’ Mamata Banerjee

    In the Central Hall of Parliament, any reference to “Madam” is taken to be an allusion to Congress president Sonia Gandhi or Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. But now, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee too has joined the club. The sudden upswing in Mamata’s clout is evident everywhere. The catering staff go out of their way to shower attention on her MPs (“Madam ke log). Some could be seen taking tips from Trinamool MPs on their culinary tastes. The reason is clear: the catering service is provided by the Railways.

    how to maintain your promise against central-policyBy: rathin dutta | 29-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward with in one year, you will see,actual central economic policy not in favour general people, like that DISINVESTMENT-POLICY in coal,mines,insurance,banking etc..I do think you will suffer more disturbance politically with in one year,after one year you can not break CPM led govt., if you want come to power in WB, then you will take greater effort for strengthening TMC organisation which can creat way to come in power with in six to nine month.
