At its launch,managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz,Dr Wilfried Aulbur presented the first Special Edition Mercedes-Benz C-Class to the upcoming Indian professional golfer Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar. FYI: only 60 units of this exclusive car have been created upon the C 200 Kompresor and C 220 CDI and features colours of Carneol Red,Obsidian Black and Calcite White. A technological trailblazer,“The C-Class has been exclusively designed for young achievers and dynamic individuals whose lifestyle is a celebration of aspirations,ambitions and drive,” commented Dr Aulbur. With the sporty genes of Mercedes-Benz,the Special Edition C-Class prides itself for an avantgarde styling package,highlighted most noticeably on the radiator grille with its distinctive louvers and the large,centrally positioned three pointed star. The package includes the elaborate individual elements of the re-designed air intake sills,chrome surrounds on the fog lamps,the aerodynamic enhancements of the front apron spoiler,roof spoiler,rear apron spoiler and the rear spoiler lip to further accentuate the sporty stance of the car. The Special Edition C-Class features the 17-inch light-alloy rims with the exclusive 5 twin-spoke design. Marking its debut in the Special Edition C-Class,is the ‘Universal Media Interface’. The UMI allows customers to connect to cutting-edge mobile entertainment and communication devices such as USB-based MP3 players,music mobiles,iPod or the iPhone to the on-board audio system. The new sporty Special Edition C-Class will be offered at a competitive price of Rs 28.46 lakhs.
