Madhuri Dixit to do her first item song in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Dancing queen Madhuri Dixit, who will soon be making her comeback with Gulab Gang, will be seen doing an item song in Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

In her career that has spanned over decades this will be the first time ever that Madhuri will do an item number.

Though it may be a question why the actress is opting to do an item number as a comeback even before appearing as the leading lady in her film.

Madhuri, who will also be starting shoot for her next film Dedh Ishqiya, has recently launched her online dance academy with husband Dr Sriram Nene.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is directed by Ayan Mukherji of Wake Up Sid fame. The film, which marks the reunion fo fomrer couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is slated for release in May this year.
