Maha cabinet passes resolution congratulating Sachin

Maharashtra cabinet on Thursday congratulated cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar for completing 20 years in international cricket and scoring 17,000 runs in ODIs.

A resolution moved by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan,passed at the meeting of the cabinet here,said “Sachin has provided pleasure to crores of Indians and cricket lovers across the world through his brilliant play.”

“Tendulkar’s success in cricket is a symbol of his loyalty to the game,hard work and his intense feelings for the country,” the resolution said.

Chavan said it has been 20 years since Sachin made his appearance on the international stage and he has has reached the pinnacle of cricket.
