Advani told the Prime Minister that he was keeping quiet on the issue till now but was forced to speak after seeing the affidavit filed by Pragya in court, a BJP MP said.

Advani also advised the Prime Minister to go through Pragya's affidavit to know the seriousness of the situation.

Singh assured Advani that he will look into the matter, the BJP MP said on condition of anonymity.

Singh informed Advani that he had seen the statement made by the Opposition leader in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday about repeated narco analysis done on Pragya Singh Thakur.

Advani had also said at the public meeting that no women police personnel were present during the tests.

12% Muslim vote at the cost of 80% Majority...By: IE Reader | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Any one can understand how biased some of the comments here towards one particular community. The moment a bomb explodes it was blamed on Muslims even without any investigation. A message would come in the form of SMS or E-mail claiming to be from some Muslim Terrorist organization/s. Many Muslims youths and professionals would be arrested and interrogated, torturing them physically and mentally. POTA was grossly misused against them during BJP rule. That time no body was there to talk on behalf of them. Not even Muslims as they were scared that they will have the same fate. Abdul Nasser Madani was held in Coimbatore jail for more than 9 years without any trial. After nine years trial started he was found innocent and released. Who would compensate for the 9 valuable years that he spent in jail away from his family and that too in ill health. Its foolish to believe these thing are done to get votes of 12% or so Muslims population which is divided by the so called secular parties.
ATS : First get some Proof and then Introgate based on thatBy: Shankar | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward Maharastra Police do not learn from Punjab police. What did the Panjab police did during Panjab Terrorism, is the same act Maharastra police is doing. Insted of punishing the actual terror culprits they are just picking up the opponents of political and religious people in the name of introgation. This could not solve the problem will increase in moving far away from supporting police. Police are just picking up people based on their doubt and trying to fetch the proof. First let them have the proof and later introgate based on the proof. Even i can prove any person guilty if i have power like Maharastra ATS. Citizens should teach the Mahastra Congress and Central Congress govt about its appeasing minority policy.
POOR EXAMPLE FOR DEMOCRACYBy: SRIDHAR B | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward The action of the ATS is not at all surprising. The action shows whata poor example for democracy is our nation. The ATS claims it has evidence, Then why invoke MCOCA. Hope our Honourable President Madam is watching all these happenings because she was advocating against terse laws to deal with terrorism when she was commenting about the law enacted by Guj. govt pending with Central Govt. Why doesn't she tell her friends in Maharashtra to revoke MCOCA. The congress, left and other secular protection forces and the print and visual media are all inflicting irrepairable damage to our country. Dear Hindu Brothers, Only congress and secular protection forces have full right to misuse acts like MCOCA. The day is not far off when India will become Israel and defend our rights on our own. It is unfortunate that even BJP is in a dilemma because they let go a wonderful opportunity to seize the issue and take it to the HINDUS. This government no longer cares for majority community.
speed of investigation and timingBy: ashok pai | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward the ATS was dormant for 2 years, and now moving at light speed just in time of elections.nobody has yet spoken about hard tangible evidence in the case.if narco analysis is evidence, then when telgi spoke about high and mighty - why werent they quizzed ?how come sanjay dutt is still acting despite having been found with a cache and arms - a normal citizen would have been hung by now.
Malegaon By: Dr S.Srinivasan | 21-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward The case seems to run on lines parallel to the Sankarraman murder case, which is also sub judice right now. Only difference is Maharashtra's `POTA'in the present case. At least there, Shri Shankaracharya was able to get bail in the Supreme Court by proving the false statements of the Tamil Nadu counsel Tulsi by producing the evidence on the land sale having been credited to the Mutt's bank account. Tulsi said that the money was used to pay hirelings and had to cut a sorry figure in the court. He was, however, lucky that the English language secular(?)media obligingly suppressed these facts. Like Bourbons, media like you never learn. Wait for the final result. The lower judiciary have no powers to pull up the police even when they know that the police are wrong. So, initial developments are bound to be sensational.
