The BJP on Monday announced that it would petition Election Commission on Congress using ATS for vote bank politics.

Meanwhile, the judicial remand of eight of the ten accused, including Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, in the Malegaon blast case has been extended till November 29 as a court in Nasik rejected the Gujarat police's plea for interrogation of nine of them.

The ATS, which produced the eight arrested persons in the case before the jam-packed court of Additional Judge H K Ganatra, sought extension of their judicial remand stating that investigations are on.

Sadhvi Pragya's lawyer filed an application before the court alleging the ATS had ill treated her besides torturing his client. Another accused in the case, Major (retd) Ramesh Upadhyay told the court that he was not allowed to send letters, seeking legal help, to his family members in Pune.

Upadhyay said he was not being allowed to communicate with his family which was against the "principle of natural justice".

He also accused the ATS of not providing him certain facilities, applicable under the jail rules.

Realization.......By: Common Man | 19-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward I think BJP have lately realized that supporting Sadhvi and other Hindu hardlines is the way forward. If she is not guilty, they will have chance to go for killing congress. If She is found guilty, she still will become Heroic in from of Hindu population, who are feeling depresses and lost after so many blasts and no action from government. If Sadhvi is found guilty, it would be framed as "Revenge" rather than terrorism. Hindu's will unite in any case and will vote for those who supports Sadhvi

Where were you when the SHahi Imam of Jumma masjid visited Abu Basher's house and declared that all youths captured by the security agencies were innocent and that he would start an agitation to get them released,.THe long list of intellectuals who lined up for the cause of the suspects reads like the who's who of the muslim intelligensia and relegious schools.At least do you remember the delegations that visited Azamgarh to sympathise with the families.THis is selective amnesia on your part.I would say Hindus are generally moral consious irrespective of relegious feelings and if at all they have turned fundamentalists in their attitude now it is because they have imbibed these values from our radical minorities.I hope the tribe of fundamentalist hindus rises everyday so that our national interests are protected.

These very scounderals have yet to hang Azal who is already proven guilty and awarded the death sentence by the highest court! What rulers are these! They are nothing short of abetting Afzal and other proven terrorists and are no trying to terrorise the vast majority of Hindus.
