  • Hindu terrorism is potentially dangerous because it can function behind a fig-leaf of patriotism. However, there is nothing to suggest that the phenomenon has remotely reached take-off stage. For now, it is made up of the fulminations and odd excesses of those who either regret the lack of a Hindu backbone or see themselves as outlanders. They must be politically isolated and, when appropriate, punished as outlaws.

Malegaon blastsBy: Sanjiv | 29-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward "Malegaon blasts were an offshoot of a diabolical scheme that went awry and was disowned" - Will Mr. Dasgupta illucidate this whisper? Are we looking out for shades of 'Reichstag' fire arranged through some loonies but pinned down on Communists?
Naveed's fallacies!By: xxx | 29-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward It is funny that Hindus are so indignant of having their "rights infringed on." Most do not drink anyway, why are you harping on this - you should be more concerned about the illegal immigrants and terrorists within the nation. Everyone yells at Hindu groups who are trying to preserve values -albeit in an incorrect manner - while nearly a million Hindus are slaughtered and thrown out in Kashmir. This is the result of our Saudi Muslim and Syrian/US-Christian controlled media, which people stupidly believe. Visit nationalinterest[dot]in to debate these issues which are hidden under the rug in "unbiased, secular" Indian media."Now, since Indian muslims are more opened to show patriotism and ready to confront with Islamic terrorsim, . . self appointed custodians of the Indian culture." Muslims like Naveed ignore that Hindu culture, predating 4000 years, was nearly eradicated when Muslims entered the area - who is defending Hindus?! only thing Muslims act on is converting the kaafirs!
islamic terrorismBy: dr.chandra shekar | 29-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward what nonsical garbage is this guy talking. why doesn't he live in pakistan as a hindu with his hindu name and then talk about tolerance. islamic terrorism and fascism started the day the muslims set foot in india many hundred yers ago. if anyone needs confirmation go to qutub minar and see the destruction caused by these early barbaric muslim invaders/ marauders. islamic terrorism did not start with taliban or al qaeda. also why does he call these people in mangalore hindus when the muslims terrorists commit barbaric acts of destruction and killing the popular phrase is that they are not muslims. this despite the fact that the perpetrators claim to commit their atrocities in the name of islam.
History is the best indicator of present of futureBy: vinod | 28-Jan-2009 Reply | Forward Historical and statistical analysis tells us the real cause of condition of other ethinic/religious groups in an Islamic society of all times. We will never want that to happen in india again in name of freedom and cultural/religious evolution. If we are really concerned to retain our territorial integrity in present and in future we will have to certainly address some issues of demographical changes happening in many part of countries which may become real future threat to our cultural diversity. To remove the perceived threat among majorities from minorities, deep love for india and its culture needs to developed in muslim brothers' hearts while keeping them away from religious bigotrism like madarassa education or any special religious favour. They should also be educated about shared culture of our ancestors to help them develop a sense of brotherhood.
