Claiming that her party is peace loving, Banerjee said that she condemns every kind of violence. “Yesterday, I saw a house being vandalised in Lalgarh. We do not support such acts. I thank the people of Khejuri, who have lifted the police boycott. We are against political murders,” the railway minister added. She also came down heavily on state Home Secretary Ardhendu Sen and asked him to take action against those CPM workers from whom police have recovered arms.
