Mamata’s inaction is responsible: Buddha

Maoists had been cornered in the erstwhile Left Front rule but the ultras had regained strength due to inaction by the present Mamata Banerjee-led government,former Chief Minister Budhhadeb Bhattacharjee said on Sunday. “We had cornered the Maoists,but the present government has loosened that grip and now they are regaining strength,” Bhattacharjee said at a public meeting in Belgharia in North 24- Parganas district. “This mistake in Jungle Mahal was added to the error in Darjeeling hills,” he said and added that government was “playing with fire”.
