A Delhi court sentenced a man to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for raping an infant two years ago, terming his offence as ‘inhuman, depraved and perverted act’.

Additional Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma awarded the prison term against Mohsin after holding him guilty under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC.

The court refused to grant any leniency against the convict saying “the question of leniency,in an inhuman, depraved and perverted act of rape on a female child of tender age does not arise at all for consideration.”
