A 26-year-old BTech graduate was arrested on charges of cheating IT students by promising them high-income jobs with reputed firms in Noida. According to Crime Branch officers, the accused had duped over 15 students in this manner.

SBS Tyagi, DCP (Crime and Railways), said Vikrant Singh used to run a consultancy firm in Sector-63, Noida. "His fees ranged from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. The arrest was made after one of his victims, Rahul Kumar, a computer science student of Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, lodged a complaint with police.
