Man, two others, arrested for murder of brother-in-law in Jind

The Haryana Police on Tuesday arrested Jind resident Vijay and his two accomplices — Rajender and Sandeep — for the murder of Vijay's brother-in-law Rampal. The three had allegedly tried to mow down Rampal and his sister Poonam on the highway near Kinana village in Jind on January 4. Vijay and Poonam had got married 12 years ago and have two children. As per police, Vijay had an illicit relation with one Saroj. "To eliminate Poonam and Rampal, Vijay hatched the conspiracy. Poonam luckily survived. Saroj was in the same car used to kill Rampal. She is currently absconding," Inspector Kuldeep Singh said.
