Chidambaram said: The CBI has arrested 12 people so far in this case. He admitted there have been a few major Naxal attacks in the recent past including the Jnaneshwari Express derailment, which is being probed by the Central Bureau of Invesitgation. At least 148 people were killed on May 28 when 13 bogies of the Jnaneshwari Express jumped track in the dead of night. Five of these coaches were also slammed aside by a speeding good train which ran into it. The accident took place between the Khemasoli and Sardiya stations,135 kilometres from Kolkata.
