Marchesa designs new Playboy bunny costume

Fashion house Marchesa has taken on the task of modernising one of the most iconic outfits of all times.

Fashion house Marchesa has taken on the task of modernising one of the most iconic outfits of all times,the Playboy bunny costume.

The luxury label today unveiled a sketch for the design that will be auctioned off for charity,reported Daily Mail online.

The creation is modelled on the original uniform,consisting of a body-suit,bow-tie and bunny ears,with a couture twist.

“We’ve taken our inspiration from the original costume but added Marchesa’s signature details,such as hand draping and embroidery,while staying true to the Playboy Bunny’s classic corset silhouette,” said Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman.

The outfit will be unveiled for the first time on May 26th,when it will be auctioned to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.
