  • Bulan Cricket Academy (CA) scored an emphatic 114-run win against Ashok Malhotra Cricket Academy (AMCA) in the Priyak Memorial Sub-Junior Cricket Tournament on Tuesday. AMCA won the toss and elected to field first. Bulan CA made the most of the opportunity, registering 182 for 5 in the allotted 25 overs. Shivaji Roy top-scored for Bulan CA with 70 while Rahul Roy chipped in with 31. AMCA’s Pabak Dey took 2 for 15.

The AMCA batsmen capitulated for a paltry 68 off 16.3 overs. Bulan CA’s Surajit Roy led the charge, taking 2 wickets for just 7 runs.

In another match in the tournament, City AC held their nerve and snatched a 3-wicket win against Ultra Plus Balak Sangha. Rahul Gope top-scored for Ultra Plus Balak Sangha with 31 as his team was dismissed for 122 in 19.4 overs. Arka Prava (3 for 30) and Sonu Kumar (2 for 17) bowled well for City AC, and their batsmen chased down the 123-run victory target with three full overs to spare, losing seven wickets. Nirjash Dey scored 44 in City AC’s successful chase. Ultra Plus Balak Sangha’s Kamalendu Guha and Biswajit Das took four wickets each, but the duo’s efforts weren’t good enough to restrict City AC.
