The weather forecast for the Chandigarh Air Force Station was an unusual one for Sunday morning: clear with a 100 per cent chance of stars. True to the report,stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor descended at the Station to promote their upcoming film Mausam. Directed by Pankaj Kapoor,the film Mausam is scheduled to be released on September 16. Chandigarh holds a special place for me. I have shot for three films here,and shooting for my fathers directorial debut film,Mausam,was an unforgettable experience, said Shahid,while narrating his days in Chandigarh and at the Gwalior Air Force Base and how cool it was to play an Air Force officer. Amidst the discussion,the actor and the Air Commodore S C Chafekar,Air Officer Commanding,12 Wing cleared the air regarding the controversy shrouding a couple of air Force-based scenes in the film. Its not a controversial matter. Aviation is a serious business and we wanted all rules,regulations,processes to be followed exactly the way it is in the film. There was a 30 second shot which has been checked,thats all. There are no cuts or edits, said Air Commodore S C Chafekar. While Shahid wore a casual look in a tee and jeans,Sonam,on the other hand,looked ravishing in an off white chikankari anarkali and desi jutti. All I can say is that Mausam is a love story for all seasons, blushes the actress. Post the interaction with the press,the actors were ferried to the tarmac where they held an open session with the air force officers and also went on to wave the Indian flag.
