She also referred to the fate of the leaders who had either deserted the BSP or were expelled by the party.

She also announced the expulsion of the BSP leader and Rajya Sabha member Balihari Babu from the party. “Raj Bahadur, Sonelal Patel, Balihari Babu, Dinanath Bahskar and Issam Singh got special reference in her speech,” a source confirmed. Raj Bahadur is currently in the Congress, while Bhaskar returned to the BSP on Saturday.

All the leaders whom she referred to in her speech were once close to party founder Kanshiram.

Mayavati Age badhoBy: virendra | 09-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Media always highlighted the weak points of BSP and Mayavati. And always tried to hide good points and progress done by her in UP. She has done a lot for dalits in UP. Media always highlighted about poverty and bad infrastructure of UP. Is it because of 2-3 years of ruling by BSP? Congress and BJP have govt in UP for decades and they are more responsible for under development in UP. But this fact is never highlighted by Media.
Time to learn lessons and introspections for Maya jeeBy: Sukumar,Advocate,Supreme Court of India | 05-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Probably Mayajee is surrounded by the people who do not give advise tho her on the basis of wrong and right rather they give advise on the basis of what she wants and what pleases her. This is why is finding herself in the lot of troubles and in great difficulties. It is the right for her to introspect and see that what so ever she is doing is right or wrong. She will have to scan people who are ins and around her and before taking any decision must think twice that it is right or wrong.Regards(SUKUMAR)09871090724

A Dalit LeaderBy: aniketh | 05-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Mayawathi, see to it that your successor is more educated than you cause we know now how well educated you are after building those statues during a period of recession. By the way, your policy of dividing India on basis of dalits and upper class does not bring substantiate development in the country. It only brings inequality.
MAYAWATI'S ASPIRATIONSBy: NIRANJAN | 05-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward BUT, MAYAWATI, THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO IN UP. YOU NEED TO BUILD MORE OF YOUR STATUES AT EVERY STREET CORNER. YOU HAVE RAZE A FEW GOVT. BUILDING TO BUILD MORE SMARAK'S AND MONUMENTS AND THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH ELEPHANTS! WITH SO MUCH TO DO IN UP, WHY DO YOU WANT TO HURRY TO DELHI?
