Shares in construction firm Maytas Infra opened down 4.98 per cent,the maximum daily limit,at 150.80 rupees on Friday after its chairman,R.C. Sinha,resigned. The promoters of Satyam Computer Services hold 36 per cent stake in Maytas,whose shares had fallen by their maximum daily limit on Wednesday,after the resignation of the chairman of India's No. 4 outsourcer and disclosures that Satyam's earnings had been inflated over the past few years.
