MBA graduate gangraped in Pune,two nabbed

A 25-year-old married woman,an MBA in hospitality management,was allegedly gang raped by occupants of a share taxi in Pune.

In a shocking incident,a 25-year-old married woman who hired a share-taxi was abducted and allegedly gangraped by the three occupants of the vehicle,police said.

The woman,an MBA in hospitality management,had taken a lift in the taxi on Thursday evening in which two other passengers were travelling.

According to Mahesh Patil,DCP,investigating the case,police had detained two of the three suspects for interrogation.

He said the accused who apparently conceived a plan of abduction on the spur of moment after the woman got into the car,asked the driver to take a round of the city.

“They consumed beer and Biryani on the way and later abducted the woman taking her to an isolated spot to rape her”,he added.

The victim who hails from Nagpur was staying with her relatives in the city.

Patil said police nabbed two accused within hours of receiving compliant from the woman and were confident of booking the absconding culprit.
