'I personally believe that nobody comes after you if you are playing well.'

Pakistan captain Younis Khan has advised his Indian counterpart Mahendra Singh Dhoni to keep his cool and concentrate on the game following his recent run-ins with the media at the Twenty20 World Cup.

"Keep your cool, man," was Younis' message when asked to comment on Dhoni's tussle with the media. Dhoni was upset with the media after it reported a rift between the skipper and his deputy Virender Sehwag.

The situation worsened after Dhoni refused to answer media questions on Sehwag's shoulder injury and his being ruled out of the tournament.

Though the distraction has not affected India's performance at the group league stage, Dhoni and company needs to maintain their cool on the West Indies in the Super Eights.

"I personally believe that nobody comes after you if you are playing well," Younis said on Thursday at a press conference on the eve of his team's Super Eight opener against Sri Lanka at Lord's.

Childish media magic fails to amuse the audience! By: Hary Nambiar | 12-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Yes. As usual the media brought out a pigeon out of its pocket to charm its audience but it is not amusing. Should a talented player or a captain keep every reporter amused or what? How should he do it? What is a tussle between a captain and the vice captain or between a captain and a player, other than the wicked imagination of a stupid reporter? There is no point in blaming the Pakistani captain. He was asked a question and he answered it the best he could. Why should the stupid reporter ask that question to the Pakistani captain? He could have asked any of the Indian players! What is the need to ask that question? Some reporters are good at playing with tongue, with peter (pen), or with balls but they are lousy sportsmen. Dhony is a talented player and a talented captain. Leave him alone.
Unsolicited adviceBy: Hero Vaz | 12-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward News has come that the Pakis have just been beaten by the Sri Lankans. The Paki captain must have lost his cool!!! He could not get his team to make the small score of 151 to win. He failed to take his own advice.
Re: Prashant MsgBy: Vijay | 12-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward This msg is to reply to Prashant Msg: Well...This shows Prashant jealous. Do you like leaders like dravid, sachin(Manmohan). They are very talented but they are not leaders. Dhoni is a leader. He might have lot of plan using Shewag and Shewag is not clearly mentioned about his injury obviously as a captain you will get angry. Man understand cricket and then shout....
