Cold winds blowing from Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir valley brought down the temperature in the Capital to the season’s lowest of 8.6 degree Celsius on Saturday.
In the past three years, today’s minimum temperature, which is two degrees below normal, is the lowest recorded for the month of November.
In 2008, the lowest was nine degrees recorded on November 25 while in 2007, it was 9.6 degrees on November 23.
Today’ temperature has dropped two degrees from yesterday’s 10.7 degrees. On Thursday, the lowest was recorded at 12.1 degree Celsius.
The weatherman said the maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are likely to be around 23 and nine degree Celsius respectively tomorrow.
