Asking the partymen to keep a tab on the ministers, he said, "If anyone has any complaint against a minister, he can give it in writing to me confidentially." It was Ramgopal who did much of the talking and even had some advice for the Chief Minister. "When the BSP government assumed power, all officials who were soft towards us were removed within 24 hours. It is strange that 60 per cent of the officials are still committed towards BSP. It will be good if there is a major change after January 15," he reportedly stated.
Sources said that Ramgopal alleged that several leaders who were in BSP in the past are now regular at ministers offices. "They are dealing in contracts, transfers and other lucrative things. Even our party workers are sidelined by them. I know ministers who are surrounded by sycophants," he said.
He also reportedly criticised some young partymen who are considered close to the Chief Minister. "Those youth workers who toiled hard are still working. On the other hand, several other names such as Rajesh, Awadesh, Naved are regarded as members of the core team. Some of them have been given ministerial status'', Ram Gopal remarked.
The CM stated that the state government was doing good work. The assurances made in election manifesto will be fulfilled and the results of several schemes will be visible after the budget session.
PWD Minister Shivpal Yadav did not speak although he was invited to express his views.
