  • Trial runs on the entire Noida metro corridor began on Friday, making it the first Metro corridor to connect the Capital with the NCR. Though the line will be commissioned only after the trial runs are successful and a clearance is received from the Commissioner of Railway Safety, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is hoping to make it operational by mid-November for the upcoming International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan. The trial runs between Yamuna Bank and Noida City Centre (Sector 32) covered a distance of approximately 13 km. The completely elevated stretch has 10 stations.
