The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has sought more clarity from the officials of Chandigarh Administration on certain points in the ongoing special audit of controversial mega projects. A team comprising MHA officials reached Chandigarh on Thursday and met with senior officials of the Administration. While the team first met UT Home Secretary Ram Niwas and asked him to clarify on certain points; they later asked Finance Secretary Sanjay Kumar about certain financial aspects involved in the mega projects. Sources said that though the special audit team has completed most parts of the report,it wanted certain clarifications from the UT top brass.
