The Sri Lankan brand, Avirate has opened its store in Pune. With its first store opening in Bengaluru earlier this year, the brand has a target of opening stores in Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh by the first quarter of 2013. The brand goes by the motto of high fashion at affordable prices. Located on Senapati Bapat Road, the store offers a variety of clothing, accessories and lingerie. While the autumn winter collection is a mix of various shades of grey, purple and black in knee length dresses, the collection for formal party wear includes ankle length dresses in lycra and georgette and jumpsuits in cotton and linen. A range of clubwear is available in geometric and floral patterns in bright colours. They have a collection of neckpieces , bangles, bracelets and earrings along with a section full of florescent scarves and funky stockings. The handbags, shoes and lingerie are available in limited designs. With a classy alligator leather pattern, the bags are made with patent leather with old-style click photo locks.
