Mohd Saif and Zeeshan, suspected aides of militants involved in the serial blasts in New Delhi, were on Saturday remanded to 14 days' police custody by a Delhi court.

"Considering the abhorrent and fiendish acts that rattled Delhi last Saturday and investigating agency was also bereaved of an officer and to unearth the conspiracy, both the accused are remanded to 14-day judicial custody," Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Kanwaljit Arora said.

While seeking police custody of Saif and Zeeshan, the Special Cell of Delhi police said their further custodial interrogation was necessary as they had revealed ‘there are 10 other persons involved in the blasts and are absconding’.

Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP Sanjeeev Yadav, who is the investigating officer in the case, told the court that preliminary investigations have revealed that ‘they (Saif and Zeeshan) are (suspected) to be involved in the Gaffar Market blast last Saturday’.

Militants in DelhiBy: venkat | 20-Sep-2008 Reply | Forward There is an urgent need to raid the residences of Mr. Lalu Prasad, Mr. Ramvilas Paswan and Mulayam Singh Yadav. I am sure few more suspects are being sheltered by these politician criminals.
