Mischa Barton's cancelled TV show ‘The Beautiful Life’ is all set for a second inning on the small screen, according to reports.

Bosses behind the show are planning to air the axed episodes next year.

The former ‘O.C.’ star signed on to Ashton Kutcher's modelling drama earlier this year (09), but the series was scrapped by U.S. network The CW in September (09) due to poor ratings after just two episodes.

But now TV bosses are planning to revive the programme by airing the remaining shows next summer.

"We have somewhat good news. The CW will plan 2 (sic) air the remaining episodes of The Beautiful Life (this summer). The bad news is there is still no plans of renewing ''The Beautiful Life.'' But that might change during the months, or this year. The status of unaired episodes has yet to be determined,” the Daily Star quoted show spokesman Paul McGuire as saying in a statement.
