Missing tiger found,taken to Sariska

The three-year-old tiger,designated T-7,had strayed away from the Ranthambore National Park in August last year.

A male tiger,which went missing more than six months ago,was finally tranquilised and transported to the Sariska Tiger Reserve late on Wednesday night. The three-year-old tiger,designated T-7,had strayed away from the Ranthambore National Park in August last year and after going as far as Mathura,the tiger had settled in Bharatpurs Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary.

Rajasthan chief conservator of forests (CCF),wildlife,P S Somshekhar on Wednesday told The Indian Express that after 10 days of playing cat and mouse with a team of forest officials and Wildlife Institute of India officials,T-7 was tranquilised.
