MNS, Sena-BJP seek Azmi's arrest; Maha assembly adjourned

    MNS alleged that Azmi had made threatening gestures while he was taking oath.

    Members of MNS and Shiv Sena-BJP created noisy scene in the Maharashtra Assembly today, demanding the arrest of SP MLA Abu Asim Azmi over his "behaviour" on the opening day of the session and his subsequent remarks against Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

    Soon after the House commenced proceedings, MNS members shouted slogans demanding Azmi's arrest.

    They alleged that Azmi had made threatening gestures while he was taking oath on Monday.

    Sena-BJP members also joined in, demanding Azmi's arrest for his "derogatory" comments against Bal Thackeray. The House was adjourned for 10 minutes amid noisy scenes.

ABU AZMI IS ONLY GUILTY OF VERBAL WAR, BUT MNS DOES NOT BELIEVE IN WORDS. THEY ONLY USE THEIR HANDS AND LEGS TO SHOW THEIR DISSENT. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MNS AND LITTLE KIDS PLAYING HOUSE LIKE ADULTS!

They violated in assembly and attacked Mr. Azmi everyone seen that, now they are asking him to arrest because they are marathis, rest humans are not Indians. My strong suggestion is that Bombay should separate from Maharashtra. like Delhi. Bombay should be different, because people lives there are from every part from India, after developed Bombay, these marthis came, now they are doing gundaism. They are the real terrorist of India.

This(MNS leaders slapping Abu Azmi) is a direct consequence of our media turning a blind eye to the venemous rhetorics of the likes of Bal Thackrey, Praveen Togadia and now Raj Thackrey. The media has largely ignored their vile utternaces (or just made a passing reference at best) just because on the surface, the face value of these leaders is symbolic of Hindu Pride, but at what cost ? Where will all this lead to ? Will the Indian democracy ever be the same again if Media continues to maintain its quiet, when it comes to the sinful utternaces and acts of these leaders.
