Moderate quake in Hindu Kush region

    An earthquake of moderate intensity measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale shook the Hindu Kush Region in Afghanistan today.

    The tremor was felt around 1.20 am (IST) with the epicentre at 36.5°N latitude and 71.0°E longitude, a release from the India Meteorological Department said.
