Addressing mediapersons after the meeting,Prasad said that the Gujarat Chief Minister just gave strength to the family of the victim and did not talk politics. He further said that Modi gave a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family.

The BJP prime ministerial candidate left in his chopper soon after the meeting. He is now slated to visit families of other victims in Kaimur,Begusarai,Gopalganj,Supaul and Nalanda.

This plan of Modi to visit the families of those killed in Patna serial blasts has not gone down well with the JD(U),which has accused the BJP of “playing with human emotions for political gain”.

“There are other leaders in the BJP who could have visited these places without lights, camera and action as Modi plans to. Such a yatra can create a Muzaffarnagar or Godhra in Bihar,” said JD(U) national spokesperson K C Tyagi.
