A four-wicket haul by Mohit Gupta guided Tenvic Cricket Academy to a 39-run win over KK Cricket Academy in a league match of the the First Silver Stone Cup being played on Wednesday.
Batting first, Tenvic Academy posted a total of 188 runs in the allotted 30 overs. Raghav Arora played a knock of 44 runs off 33 balls while Sagar Sharma contributed 29 runs. For KK Academy, mavi, Vivek Mehra and Ravi claimed two wickets each. In reply, KK Cricket Academy were restricted to a total of 149 runs. Ankit Chaudhary was the top scorer playing a knock of 36 runs. For the winning team, Mohit Gupta claimed four wickets for 25 runs while Ankush Dhaliwal grabbed two wickets for 23 runs.
3,000 entries for Chandigarh Cyclothon
Chandigarh: More than 3000 participants have confirmed their entries for the third edition of the Chandigarh Cyclothon to be organised by UT Administration on February 3. A prize money of Rs three Lakh will be given to the winners of the competitive segments.
An expo will be organised today and February 1 at Leisure valley, Sector 10 to aid the cyclists taking part in the event. The participants will be taking part in Junior/Fun ride, Amateur Ride (10 Kms) and Corporate Ride (10 Kms) in the non-competitive section of the event.
