The state BJP held Mollah responsible for the incident and said he should be arrested along with Arabul Islam.
"Both Arabul and Mollah should be arrested after what happened yesterday. Arabul for leading the mob which attacked Mollah and Mollah for instigating the Trinamool supporters. He had no business going there," said Rahul Sinha, state BJP president.
