Monster.com launches website for NRIs seeking jobs in India

Monster.com is a leading online employment portal with an extensive global footprint.

The new website,’Return2Home’,would be mainly for NRI job seekers from the US,UK,Canada,Gulf and South East Asia,who are looking for employment opportunities in India.

Monster.com’s internal research found there was about 65 per cent growth in the traffic of job-seekers from outside India between January and December,2010.

“(Around) 74 per cent of the respondents were planning to return to India eventually or have already done so,indicating the rising interest of NRIs in their homeland,” it said in a statement today.

Monster.com Managing Director (India,Middle East & South East Asia) Sanjay Modi said that corporate India is witnessing reverse ‘brain drain’,with many experienced and skilled global job-seekers looking at India.

He noted that ‘Return2Home’ would be a unique platform to engage with both employers and job seekers.
