The world of mobile applications is changing and updating constantly. While there are thousands of options available, 25-year-old Abhishek Gupta, a Chandigarh-based entrepreneur, felt there was space for more. The founder of Indianmesh, a "technology-driven" company, has rolled out Mink Me, a mobile application that was launched on Valentine's Day. "Before working on the project, my team spent a considerable amount of time researching on social networking mobile applications already available for Android phones and their drawbacks," says Gupta, who completed his masters in management from Harvard University.
Mink Me is an Android and Apple compatible mobile application, which hopes to change the way youngsters connect through messaging, find friends and network. "A unique aspect of this application is mood-based mingling, where you can set your mood. Also, one can connect to people from one's area," adds Gupta. In addition, the application boasts of special features like tracking your phone if it's lost as well as mapping friends across the globe. "We are now working on a user-friendly website that will be a convergence point for all services under one banner," says Gupta.
