Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara conceded Muttiah Muralitharan’s slump in form was worrying, but remained confident that the team could square the series in Mumbai. “We still have got a lot to achieve in Mumbai,” an

optimistic Sangakkara said after his team had crashed to their heaviest defeat against India. “We can still draw the series 1-1. So there is great motivation for us. Disappointed? Yes. But you have to take responsibility and move ahead,” the Lankan skipper said. He added that Muralitharan had the full support of the team and was good enough to bounce back from two disappointing outings with the ball. “It does bother us when our star bowler does not pick up too many wickets when we know he can. But he still is our best bowler and we got to back him 100 per cent because he is going to do that at some point, hopefully in the next game,” he said.
