    Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Muthalik was taken into preventive custody in Mysore.

    Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Muthalik was taken into preventive custody in Mysore on Monday, police said.

    Muthalik had come to visit Kyatharamanhalli suburb, where group clashes took place during the week following which prohibitory orders were issue under sections 144, police said.

    Muthalik was taken into preventive custody as soon as he landed in Mysore, police said.

    The Sri Rama Sene, known for their moral policing, had stormed a pub in Mangalore in January and attacked women for being part of pub culture, triggering nationwide condemnation.

When the Jihadists destroyed 4 temples, broke and threw away the ganesha idols you never bothered to report that. When the Mayor was attacked in his house and had to flee for his life, you pretended as if nothing has happened. Now why are you so bothered when this fellow visits Mysore ? Is it because Muslim blood is blood and Hindu blood is water ?

    Muthalik - DetentionBy: SVS Subrahmaniam | 06-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Not poor Varun, this man Muthalik should have been booked under NSA and put behind bars and would be made to struggle for coming out. It is his luck he is in Karnataka where he has his own ideological government is in rule. I do not understand what these guys are achieving out this except some publicity, courtesy the electronic media, otherwise their “good” contribution to the society is nil. If this trend goes like this the people in Karnataka will not tolerate (though they have voted for this ideological government), and start beating him till he leaves the state.
