Adnan Sami's latest album features a special video with Jermaine Jackson, which the singer says is a tribute to the "very special city of Mumbai", his home for the past 10 years.

"It is a romantic album and the most important aspect of it is that we decided to include a tribute to the spirit of the people of Mumbai city. The city has gone through a lot in the past year. We as artistes wanted to do something special in our own way," Adnan said.

In the song 'Let's go to Mumbai City', Adnan duets with Jermaine, 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson's brother, about Mumbai, which is often referred as the city of extremes.

The video is part of the album 'Ek Ladki Deewani Si', which has been directed by Divya Kumar of T-Series.

Adnan says he was heading towards Taj on the fateful day of 26 November.

"I was heading towards Taj to have Japanese food but the police diverted the traffic. At first I could not understand anything and when I reached home I had some 35 SMSes asking 'Are you okay?'.

"When I called one of my friends he told me to switch on the television set. I felt frustrated, annoyed and angry with what I saw. I completely disassociate myself with something like that and I think every sane person does the same," the singer says.

The Pakistani origin singer says he is unmindful of the backlash that sometimes comes with his nationality because at the core of his heart, he is a Mumbaikar.
