At the time,Gaddafi showed a picture of a dead baby and claimed it was Hana.

But when rebels took over Tripoli,they found a room in Gaddafis home with photos of a young woman with Hana written on the back.

In one photo from 1999,Hana stands next to South African President Nelson Mandela during a family visit to Cape Town. Gaddafis biological daughter,Aisha,stands on Mandelas other side and Gaddafis wife Safiya is next to the girl.

on Tuesday,Swiss officials confirmed Hanas name had appeared this year on papers listing names of Libyan figures targeted for sanctions.

Hanas current whereabouts are unknown.
