“Instead of buying things at one go, we are procuring equipment station-wise according to their respective requirements. It is easier to do this on a smaller scale than on a larger one. We have identified the security needs at various stations and are asking our divisions to procure related equipment,” Northern Railways General Manager V N Mathur said.
