NCP ties up with Panthers Republican Party

With former ally Republican Party of India joining hands with the Shiv Sena-BJP combine for the coming elections to urban local bodies across the state

With former ally Republican Party of India joining hands with the Shiv Sena-BJP combine for the coming elections to urban local bodies across the state,the Nationalist Congress Party on Monday announced a pre-poll alliance with another Dalit party,the Panthers Republican Party.

The Panthers Republican Party is led by Gangadhar Gade,a former RPI leader and also a former MoS who had fallen out with Ramdas Athawale over a decade ago.

NCP state president Madhukar Pichad said the alliance would hold good for all elections in the state. “Decisions regarding how many seats and which seats they will contest will be taken on a case-by-case basis for every city,town,etc. following discussions between Sharad Pawar,Ajit Pawar,myself and Gangadhar Gade.”
