The Opposition BJP-led NDA is expected to have a minor edge over Congress-led UPA in the Lok Sabha elections, a pre-poll survey has claimed.

According to the survey, NDA is predicted to get 187 seats, while the UPA is expected to bag 178 seats. The BJP with 144 seats may win more seats than Congress which is predicted to win in 133 constituencies.

The pre-poll survey conducted by India TV claims that if UPA can bring back its former constituents like Samajwadi Party, RJD and LJP, it will reach the figure of 235.

According to the survey, Mulayam Singh Yadav's SP is predicted to get 30 seats, while RJD/LJP in Bihar would win 15 seats.

The BJP may be able to add 43 more seats from existing allies, taking the NDA tally to 187.

According to the news channel, this is for the first time that a survey has been carried out on camera.

this time is bjp By: piyush | 05-May-2009 Reply | Forward the position of bjp's nda are very strong in 2009 from compare then 2004 today's bjp(nda) are so much better position in aasam,bihar,uttar pradesh,west bengal,himachal pradesh,jharkhad,gujrat and where in 2004 bjp win 14(26) seat in gujarat but today everywhere people are happy from narendra modi's work in gurat work modi factor and bjp won 20-23seat easily and in karnataka where 2004bjp was won 18(28) seat but now many congrees leader,s have come in bjp so party won 22-24 seat easily and in jharkhand where 2004 party won only 1(14) seat but today after voting congress leader accept that jd(u)and bjp is in better condition i think nda won 10(14)seats easily in west bengal i think party won 3-5 seats so i thik that in 2009 loksabha eletion party won175-190 seat so easily and nda won 240-255 and after resut many parties of third front join nda i can say sure that nda will comes in powar.
