NDA remembers ‘Lord Rama’ only during polls: Pawar

NCP chief Sharad Pawar criticised the NDA for using 'Lord Rama' only when they were out of power.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday criticised the NDA for using ‘Lord Rama’ only when they were out of power.

“When the NDA was ruling at the Centre, they had sent Lord Rama for ‘vanvaas’ (exile). Now they have again raised the issue of constructing a Ram Temple at Ayodhya,” the Union Agriculture Minister said at a gathering here.

Pawar attended public meetings at Satana,Kalwan and Ghoti in the district to campaign for the Congress-NCP candidates from Dhule,Dindori (ST) and Nashik parliamentary constituencies.

Asking the people to vote for the UPA,he said, the UPA government’s five-year-tenure was for the common man, economical progress and changes in both agricultural and industrial sectors.
