Better please read the city's history again. This shows prejudiced view of writer towards Maharashtra / its people
    NeighbourlinessBy: Shirish | 14-Nov-2008 Reply | Forward All Maharshtrians are not Marathas (From Marathwada!)Second, the opposition is not for coming here in Mumbai and Maharshtra's other cities but to adversely impact on the law and order situation and flexing the political muscles. Third, Railway recruitment has been always partial to Marathis - which really caused the beginning of the issue- and of course Chhat Puja. Why is there no transparency in RRB's recruitment? Why very few Marathis are seen recruited in Railways and other central institutes? The skewed rules of employment are required to be changed as they are heavily tilted in favour of Hindi speaking states. (Exceptions are Maharashtra and Gujarat- as no political party can do a damn in South and east against their local interests).
