Directed by Sheershak Anand and Shantanu Ray Chibber, '3G' also stars Sonal Chauhan.
"I dedicate this horror film to two people in life - my father and my nephew. My father is a big horror film buff. Whenever I am in Mumbai I make sure I watch at least one horror film with my father everyday. He loves to watch horror films a lot," Neil told reporters here.
The 31-year-old actor said he was not scared of doing the film.
"I was not scared... I lived with the character. '3G' is a very interesting concept. But it's just not technology driven, there's much more to it. Shantanu-Sheershak have written a brilliant script with a new touch," Neil said.
"I think '3G' is a film which everyone will relate to as we all go for holidays, we all have cellphones and just one mistake will change everything," he said.
Neil, who is known for playing edgy characters in films like 'Johnny Gaddaar', '7 Khoon Maaf', and 'David' among others, said his upcoming film will see him in an interesting role.
"I think the character that I play is something that I am doing for first time. The biggest question is, is he mentally unstable or a vampire? That is very interesting about my role," Neil said.
"For me doing different roles is very important, like 'Jail', 'David'. Any film where I get to deliver something different and live another life, I accept. I like showing a
flip side," he said.
'3G' is set to release on March 15.
