  • The CID Crime chargesheet submitted before an Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court last week added one more name to the list of persons “disposed of” by DIG D G Vanjhara-led ATS team.

The chargesheet named “an old friend of Sohrabuddin”, Kalimuddin, and said he could have been the third person taken off a bus along with Sohrabuddin and his wife Kauser Bi by the police and killed. The identity of this third person remains unknown.

Kalimuddin has not been seen since the time of the encounter. The CID-Crime chargesheet says that accused number two (ATS SP Rajkumar Pandian) and his team blocked the bus on the night of November 23 near Tandola village, 180 km from Hyderabad, and took away three persons, including Sohrabuddin and Kauser.

“Shaikh and Bi along with one more person who could be Kalimuddin (Anya purush vyakti jo Kalimuddin naam no hoi shake) were picked up with the intention to kill,” the chargesheet says.
